‘You Belong There’ is a spellbinding listen. Led by masterful classical guitar playing and shrewd instrumental adornments, his voice dipping and diving with high drama, Rossen’s record enthrals for the entirety of its forty-five minute runtime. Unlike Grizzly Bear LPs, where the charm often lies in subtlety and atmosphere, ‘You Belong There’ is cinematic in scope, pairing Ennio Morricone’s dust bowl chronicles with the baroque-psych sensibility of Love.

I've listened to You Belong There a few of times over the last couple of weeks, and I think I may prefer it to anything Grizzly Bear has released. What say you?
