In the world of jazz, the name "Ozone" brings to mind pianist Makoto Ozone, but the star of this album, Kei Ozone, is his younger brother and a saxophonist who has primarily worked in the Kansai region. [...] This debut album by a leader, produced and heavily featured by his older brother, features familiar faces Kengo Nakamura on bass and Shinnosuke Takahashi on drums, as well as a one-horn quartet. Using soprano and alto saxophones depending on the song, the album features nine tracks, including five ambitious originals and standards. The clear tone of the soprano saxophone is refreshing.
